HAVE A GREAT TIME IN GRAPEVINE!=====MAKE TRACKS TO THE GRAPEVINE VINTAGE RAILROAD=====
Being a lifelong railfan,(Especiallt Steam) and a photofan, here is an assortment of photos I have taken over the years of the Tarantula Train, now the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. The vintage 1896 "Ten Wheeler" Steam Locomotive, Affectionately called---"Puffy"---,(Which I Hate!!!) was built by the Cooke Locomotive Works of Paterson NJ. She runs from Grapevine Texas to Fort Worth on a seasonal daily basis carrying rail fans of all ages. The train runs to the Stockyard Station in Ft. Worth on the old Cotton Belt tracks, now belonging to the "Ft. Worth and Western RR". And there is also a daily side trip to the Trinity River Area and back to the Stock Yards.
